  Consistently fine food. Good, solid home-cooked food done with flourish and I suspect love. Enjoyed looking at the paintings, some of which were painted by the chef.

  **Excellent quality, portions and service.
  I have never been able to fault a thing about this restaurant. (Maybe to stay open during the winter?) The portions are large and extremely tasty. I know many who are regulars. I would highly recommend the fish and chips.
